Bring your bike to Long Pond and enjoy miles of bike routes in the Lake Champlain Valley and eastern region of the Adirondack Park. Long Pond Cabins is located on the "Champlain Bikeway" -- a 350 mile route around Lake Champlain from Whitehall, NY to Chambly, Quebec. There are numerous bicycle loops that branch off from the main Champlain Bikeway which provide links to the region's natural, cultural, agricultural, and historical resources. Try the "Rolling Reber Ramble" or the "Ausable River Valley Loop."
Of course, the thrill of mountain biking can be experienced in the eastern Adirondacks. There are trails located in the High Peaks region and Whiteface Mountain outside Lake Placid offers trails on an "Olympic" scale.
